Mira my whippet is very shy and timid, she has come a long well in class though still nervous, Kate was very good with her and approached her slightly differently allowing her the space she needs. Lexi is a 4 year old cockapoo. When she was a tiny puppy she had an encounter with a small boy which left her nervous of boys, she adores girls. It wasn’t too much of a problem because out on walks she would just give them a wide berth, but then my Goddaughter had a little boy 2 years ago. She was really nervous around him and if he approached her would growl and bark. Enter Kate. She spent more than an hour with us and persuaded Lexi that time spent with a little boy can be a rewarding experience. My Baxter enjoys Monday’s so much. His excitement to go in is immense, and he guides me towards the door before its time to go in. Kate truely understands Baxter’s issues & in just 3 weeks we have made great progress. The classes are so much fun for the dogs they have no idea that they are learning. Its so positive & all the dogs in our group all have a great time. Baxter has a long way to go, through no fault of his own. We started with our boxer Monty when he was a young pup, The classes were really friendly and small that you could get to know people and their pups. The classes were well structured and great fun too. We learned a lot from Kate So much so that when Monty became a little bigger and difficult to walk, we booked a 1-1 session with Kate. She came to out home discussed our concerns and off we went. She brought leads, harness that we could try and was full of great ideas and techniques we could try. I now walk Monty alone and he’s a pleasure, he no longer pulls and we enjoy our walks a lot more.
